We will begin with Tlatelolco, the largest archaeological site in Mexico City, which was part of the capital of the Aztec Empire. The largest market in the empire was located here, and it was also where the conquest of the Aztecs took place. Today popularly known as La Villa or the Basilica of Guadalupe, it is the most important religious site in the country and one of the most visited Catholic places in the world.
